HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (Oct. 4, 2022) – Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort has been recognized as the No. 9 “Best Resort in the South,” according to Condé Nast Traveler’s results of its annual Readers’ Choice Awards.
Palmetto Dunes rose in the rankings this year to be honored among the top 10 selected. Hilton Head Island represented well this year, with three resorts ranking in the top 10, proving that Hilton Head Island is a well loved destination in the south. The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards are the travel industry’s longest-running and most prestigious recognition of excellence.
Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort — which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2018 — is located in the heart of Hilton Head Island, S.C., along three miles of the Atlantic Ocean on one side and an Intracoastal Waterway marina on the other.
