Put tennis, badminton and ping pong in a cocktail shaker, and you’ve got Pickleball. And no one serves up this unique and fun sport like Palmetto Dunes. Created in 1965, Pickleball is played with oversized paddles and a softball-sized plastic ball that travels substantially slower than a tennis ball. The Palmetto Dunes Tennis & Pickleball Center features 24 dedicated Pickleball courts, 8 lighted for night play via the timer system, and one of the most comprehensive instructional programs on the east coast. It is a fun and simple game to pick up at any age, but can take a lifetime to master.
Regular Tennis & Pickleball Center Pro Shop Hours:
Sun - Sat: 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Select courts are lighted for night play through 10 p.m.
Please note that our pickleball courts will be unavailable for reservations from September 12 to September 15, 2024 as Palmetto Dunes will be hosting the National Pickleball League Tournament during these dates.
