Meet the Pros

Brian Kiggans, Head Tennis Professional

Brian Kiggans is a Pittsburgh native who played in college for Robert Morris University and has been teaching tennis since 1984. He is USPTA, PTR and USRSA-certified. He is also a member of the USTA and serves on the board of the Hilton Head Island Tennis Pro's Association. Brian enjoys teaching students of all ages and skill levels either privately or in group clinics and has been teaching at the Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center for four years.

Scott Clements

Scott Clements earned a degree in Tennis Management at the Technical College of the Lowcountry. Originally from the Philadelphia area, Scott was ranked #1 in USTA (Mid-States Region) and is a PTR-certified Professional. He attended the Van der Meer World Class Academy to enhance his playing and teaching skills and has been teaching at the Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center for eight years.

Tapi Hayrinen

A former WTA coach for all four Grand Slams, Tapi Hayrinen is has teaching and playing experience in Europe, North and South America, Asia, Africa and Australia. Tapi's teaching certifications include PTR professional, USPTA P-1, OTV Austria, STL Finland, Wheelchair Tennis Teacher, Cardio Tennis Teacher and Nordic Walking teacher. He attended Wake Forest University, where he played on the tennis team, before earning a degree in Business Administration. He has been teaching at the Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center for two years.

Hank Iannuzzi

Formerly from Long Island, N.Y., Hank Ianuzzi did his undergraduate work at the University of Pittsburgh, then entered the Georgetown Dental University graduate school. He has been in the top 5 in South Carolina in both singles and doubles competition for the past seven years. This year, he received a national doubles ranking of 22. Hank has been teaching at the Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center for six years.

Keith Whitlow

Keith Whitlow is a PTR-certified teaching professional who attended Furman University. He was formerly ranked #1 in the Southern region in both singles and doubles, and is currently ranked #1 in singles in South Carolina. Keith has 23 years of tennis teaching experience in Georgia and South Carolina. He has been teaching at the Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center for seven years.
