Stop at Palmetto Dunes Outfitters and select a fly rod or light tackle to go after large redfish, trout, bluefish, flounder and black drum - all in the resort's own unique lagoon system. Or, as an alternative, our guides can arrange for catch-and-release and inshore fishing excursions on chartered boats out of the marina. Choose from two-, three- or four-hour fishing trips or nature trips through the protected lagoon at the resort. Capt. Trent Malphrus, a knowledgeable and experienced hand, is at the helm. Ever wondered about surf casting? Skilled fishing instructors at Palmetto Dunes Outfitters offer one-hour beachside lessons in knot-tying and casting techniques. Course fee includes equipment rental for a full day.
